Herve Hoerdt, Senior Vice President Marketing at Bandai Namco, released a statement thanking fans for embracing the series and helping to make it successful. That might have been helped by the fact that Little Nightmares 2 launched on more platforms than the original simultaneously. That means the sequel has reached that milestone in just a month when its predecessor took almost an entire year. Publisher Bandai Namco has confirmed that Little Nightmares 2 has now sold more than one million copies since launching on February 11. Related: Little Nightmares 3 (& Other Series Games) Likely Not Happening Bandai Namco confirmed that issues related to Brexit had led to some physical versions of Little Nightmares being delayed past the February 11 launch date. However, not everyone was able to get their copies of Little Nightmares 2 on time. The horror puzzle-platformer also launched as a physical release in addition to the digital version of the game, largely thanks to the cult success of its predecessor. The well-received Little Nightmares sequel takes place before the events of the first game and introduces a number of new elements to the series, including a simple combat system alongside gameplay with the AI-controlled Six from the original. Bandai Namco has revealed that Little Nightmares 2 has now sold over one million copies since launching in February.
